Job Description:

Position Description: End-to-End Solution Group Leader’s (ESGL) mission is to provide the end-to-end visibility to clients which includes assisting the clients with their internal process such as purchase order and payment approvals and vendor/supplier selection, coordinating the shipments from their suppliers to the final destination, keeping track of the shipment status, and evaluating the performance of suppliers and other service providers. Here are some of the responsibilities for this role.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

  • You will partner with the Global & National Sales Manager, Director of IT during client onboarding to translate the client strategy into a clear standard operating procedure that informs your Supply Chain Operations partners/vendors and ensures successful client outcomes
  • You oversee and manage a team of 40+ personnel
  • You will work cross-functionally with Supply Chain Operations, Procurement, Vendors, Implementation, and Partner teams to form a deeper understanding of the client’s business and find ways to improve client outcomes
  • You will act as the single point of contact with the clients
  • You will lead your group by setting specific goals and planned directions
  • You will manage direct reports and staff below to carry out their task
  • You will respond directly to the client on all Supply Chain Operations, Purchase order and Vendor, Invoicing related questions to solve client issues quickly and ensure smooth operations at origin and destination
  • You will handle client issues that require advanced industry knowledge
  • You will responsible for making the members of your group accountable
  • You will ensure a deep understanding of industry technology (Vendor & PO Management, etc.) in order to ensure data is flowing properly; develop reporting for key client meetings
  • You will learn about the latest in supply chain developments and Nissin services and solutions, so that you can educate your clients in real-time
  • You will provide suggestions to mitigate risks and resolve issues in a timely matter
  • You will gather all necessary information from parties involved and share it with the clients
  • You will use your relationship and knowledge of the client to identify, quote, and close new business opportunities within the clients supply chain
  • You will ensure shipment, Purchase Order and Vendor metrics consistently meet client expectations and report out on all key client KPI’s
  • You will monitor client financial health, client invoices, Nissin ESG team P&L reporting and reporting on all financial findings and ensuring Nissin management that we are sustaining a healthy financial lifecycle
  • You will conduct financial analysis to quantify account level profitability and develop reporting for National Sales Manager
  • You will drive product adoption with Nissin management to ensure that clients realize the full value with Nissin
  • You will create and support National Sales Manager with executive-level quarterly review presentations in both written and verbal formats for the client
  • Any other projects as assigned by senior management, from time to time.

Experience and Skills:

Qualifications:

  • Education: BA/BS undergraduate degree with a focus in the Global Supply Chain Management or related field
  • 10+ years of staff management experience in freight forwarding, international logistics, & supply chain consulting
  • 5-7 years of work related experience in PO & Vendor Management
  • The ability to travel International and Domestically, depending on the project location
  • A consistent track record of success in scoping planning starting and finishing client facing cross functional projects
  • Superior attention to detail and drive to deliver ahead of schedule with a leadership approach
  • Excellent collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfort and confident in presenting to clients
  • Strategic vision and execution with a proactive approach
  • Ability to be comfortable with ambiguity as needs change on a regular basis with a high degree of initiative and sense of urgency.
