Job Description:

The Household Goods Mover directly reports to Dept Supervisor & Asst Manager. The position entails all aspects that are associated with household or a business move. The Household Goods Mover is responsible for providing excellent customer service to an international client base and ensure the customer’s household goods are professionally packed and documented

Responsibilities:

* Load/unload office furniture, household items, and more
* Must be able to accurately process paperwork, including packing lists and bill of ladings
* Ability to repetitively lift up to 65-100 lbs
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Positive attitude is a must
* Be able disassemble furniture and work stations if required
* Ability to function as part of a team
* Able to conduct residential pre-survey
* Able to multitask in both office and warehouse environment

Experience and Skills:

* High School diploma or equivalent
* Bi-lingual in Japanese required
* Demonstrate an ability to read and write in Japanese
* Possess excellent Customer Service skills
* Strong Communication skills
* Current valid Driver’s License and insurance
* Treat customer’s furniture and goods with care
* Must be able to successfully pass background check

Work Requirements

* Overtime required as needed
* Position may require overnight and out of state travel
* Able to pass health exam required for truck permit
* Must have clean driving record
* Passing BWC required medical test
* Work well amongst Japanese clientele
